Game Description
Shatterline is a first-person shooter that takes place after an interstellar object explodes in orbit, sending huge pieces of debris onto the Earth’s surface. The collisions turned prosperous megacities into toxic craters and led to the deaths of millions of people across the planet. This catastrophic event laid the foundation for a confrontation with an extraterrestrial force. The game world is defined by this initial destruction and its aftermath.
From the ruins of Shatterline, a new horror has emerged in the form of an alien pollutant called Crystalline. This substance is actively spreading, disrupting the geomagnetic fields of the planet and changing the environment. It is capable of transforming living flesh on contact, turning organic material into sharp-edged silicon structures. The pollutant poses an ongoing and expanding biological threat to the world.
Players will enter the conflict as a seasoned operative in an elite squad created to combat this scourge. A roster of characters available includes a Sniper, an Armored Juggernaut, an Experimental Warfare Specialist, and a Medic. These operatives operate in co-op missions against the alien plague or participate in player-versus-player team combat. The ultimate goal is to destroy Crystallin and save the surviving people.
