Ship Handling Simulator is a comprehensive maritime simulator, the main goal of which is to hone your ship handling skills in a variety of conditions. The project involves facing changing weather conditions, changing times of day and obstacles such as icebergs. Particular attention is paid to the physical damage model, which includes visual deformation of the hull during collisions. Careless maneuvering can lead to the ship’s flooding, even to the point of spectacularly breaking it in half. For those who want to create their own challenges, there is a sandbox mode where you can customize levels and place navigational hazards, including minefields.

The main task is to accurately perform navigation operations in cramped conditions. Ship Handling Simulator puts a vast fleet at the captain’s disposal, consisting of both historical ships, including the Titanic and Britannic, and modern aircraft carriers, battleships and cargo ships. The management process includes many aspects that require extreme concentration:

mooring to the pier using two tugs with separate controls. organizing departure from the port and arrival at a given target area. passage of narrow fairways in compliance with all maritime rules. avoiding various dangers marked by navigation signs.
