You guide the main character, Xiao Shui, through a plot that explores the connections of love, family and friendship. Shui’s Odyssey is set against the backdrop of a specific historical period, which shapes the circumstances of the characters. As gameplay progresses, a series of visual puzzles are solved that function like an unrolling scroll. Each solved puzzle reveals another piece of the narrative, gradually bringing the full picture into focus.
