Solomon’s Keep: Dreadful Retro Edition is a perilous climb to the top of a dark tower to destroy the most powerful necromancer these lands have ever known. The hero will have to make his way through a series of ominous floors, where every step threatens a collision with the minions of dark magic. The ultimate goal of this risky journey is to reach the abode of the main antagonist and put an end to his atrocities. The fate of the entire world is at stake, and only a brave adventurer is able to challenge the absolute evil hidden in its impregnable citadel.
However, behind such a grandiose mission to save the kingdom hides a very prosaic and unexpected motivation. This entire epic adventure is actually a final exam for the protagonist, who is striving to graduate from college. To receive the coveted diploma, he needs to demonstrate his skills in real conditions. Thus, in Solomon’s Keep: Dreadful Retro Edition, the battle with the greatest warlock becomes the final test, turning the fantasy quest into a kind of thesis defense using combat spells.
