Game Description

SpaceVenture follows the adventures of Ace Hardaway, a life support technician, and his robot dog, Rooter. The plot begins with an ordinary repair, which turns into an interstellar conflict. Ace battles sewer monsters, evades the law, and investigates a conspiracy involving mind-control devices masquerading as video game consoles. The gamer guides the hero through these events, creating vehicles and interacting with technology.

As SpaceVenture progresses, protagonists assemble the starship by scrounging for parts and using resources like recycled bio-waste to refuel. The assembled vessel allows you to move between sectors of the galaxy, following the intended course among the stars. The exploration process includes asteroid debris fields, functioning space stations, desert planets, and the Hyperspace Highway network. Locations contain riddles and character interaction opportunities integrated into the gameplay.

Travels lead to meetings with a variety of personalities: corrupt cops, eccentric inventors, shadowy corporate directors. Ace and Rooter communicate with them, figuring out their motives and avoiding threats from some of the people they meet. To overcome obstacles, bypass opponents and advance in the investigation of a galactic conspiracy, Ace’s tools and the functions of his PDA are used. This project requires problem solving by interacting with the environment and using things found.
