SPARTA 2035 plunges you into a brutal conflict in East Africa, where a squad of mercenaries, consisting of ordinary people with their own weaknesses and dreams, will have to defend the civilian population. They will be opposed by the extremist group Damat, which has established a brutal order. The basis of tactical confrontation is a system with two action points, allowing fighters to move and attack within the same turn. The combat system has a high level of lethality, as both allies and enemies can be destroyed with one precise burst from the flank, which forces you to carefully plan every move.
The ability to take up positions on the roofs of buildings and jump from them opens up scope for vertical gameplay, and the system of shelters, divided into full and partial ones, plays a decisive role in survival. The SPARTA 2035 project implements a mechanic in which each bullet is calculated separately, creating the possibility of accidentally hitting another fighter or an environmental object if it misses. Cone observation mode allows you to effectively control firing sectors. The environment at the locations is actively being destroyed, changing the tactical situation and forcing you to constantly adapt your strategy to new conditions.
Outside of battles, you need to manage your base, purchase equipment, and develop your squad on the global map. The story campaign consists of more than 20 hand-crafted missions with unique visual design and detailed objectives. Their passage is complemented by a large number of generated tasks, providing high replayability. The variety of tactical situations is achieved through advanced artificial intelligence of opponents, a variety of behavioral patterns and elements of randomness, which makes each encounter unpredictable and truly unique.
