Game Description
Speed Demons 2 is an arcade road racing game that focuses on explosive action and all-out destruction. The project offers hundreds of races, distributed across numerous chapters. A total of 10 modes are available, ranging from classic competitions with rivals to missions where the main goal is to destroy as many vehicles as possible within the allotted time. Moreover, each race is designed for quick sessions and is completed on average in 2-4 minutes, maintaining a high pace of what is happening.
The narrative suggests taking one of two sides of the conflict. You can join a gang of chaotic racers known as Demons, or become part of a group of vigilantes called Enforcers whose goal is to stop them at any cost. Depending on your choices, the objectives in Speed Demons 2 change dramatically, offering both aggressive and defensive scenarios. In addition to destructive tasks, there are also tests of skill, for example, the Rush Hour mode, where you need to overtake the maximum number of cars in traffic, or Scratchless, which requires you to reach the finish line with minimal damage.
The stylized graphics give a special atmosphere to what is happening: cars and environmental objects are made using cel-shading technology. The action is presented from 3 angles, including an overhead view and two pursuit cameras from different angles, enhancing the sense of speed. The controls are deliberately focused not on steering, but on overall motion control. Instead of turning the steering wheel, an analog stick or mouse is used to move the car vertically along the track, while separate buttons are responsible for the gas, brakes and activating abilities.
