Game Description
STARIO: Haven Tower challenges survivors to escape a sand apocalypse by building a vertical kingdom. Led by prophecy, they strive to leave the wasteland and build a tower up to the clouds. Each new tier symbolizes progress away from the harsh Sand Zone. This structure is inhabited by settlers, whose fate directly depends on the successful expansion of the structure upward. Proper management of resources becomes the key to the survival of a community during an upswing.
Vertical logistics in STARIO: Haven Tower requires careful planning. Each floor has its own storage, so construction on the upper tiers comes to a standstill due to a shortage of materials, and on the lower tiers there is a shortage. To solve this problem, players construct supply routes that include human passages, fluid pipelines, and balloon networks. The technology tree provides access to more efficient logistics solutions. Strut technology strengthens the tower’s frame, allowing it to create horizontal spaces like hanging gardens and mesh sky platforms that defy gravity.
Climbing upward is fraught with constant difficulties, not limited only to the strength of the structure. As the tower grows, it passes through changing ecosystems with unique hazards, including billowing haze and acid rain. These natural threats can destroy a structure and break the will of its occupants. To counter this, gamers will have to build landmarks that satisfy practical and emotional needs, increasing morale and productivity. Each unique building becomes a monument to progress in the fight against devastation.
