Game Description

Starship Troopers is a first-person shooter game based on the Starship Troopers film franchise. In addition to the single, there is multiplayer available via the Internet online and LAN. On Pirate it is possible to play with a friend online. As in the original source, the events take place in the distant future, where people fight the Arachnids.

The single-player campaign follows the adventures of Marauder Zero-Six. This is the name of the exoskeleton-clad Federation soldier who carries out dangerous missions and destroys arachnid aliens. His story begins with the landing on Hesperus. The story is conveyed through cutscenes before missions begin. However, all these stages are not connected by any general narrative. As you progress, archive pages with lore open. In Starship Troopers, free online play increases the replay value of the product.

There is a cooperative with separate levels, where you need to mow down crowds of beetles together. There are also battles between users. There is regular and team deathmatch, capture the flag, and battles for control of points. Network play supports up to 8 people. The arsenal has 9 barrels. Each of them has an alternative shooting mode. There is a shotgun, an assault rifle, a plasma rifle, a nuclear cannon, and so on. When firing, ammunition is consumed. You can replenish ammo by looking for special boxes or picking up weapons from the bodies of fallen comrades. And health is replenished when collecting first aid kits. In addition to the HP scale, there is a shield indicator. This armor is restored automatically over time.
