Game Description
Storebound is a co-op survival horror game that turns a huge furniture store into a death trap for random visitors. With the onset of darkness, bright shop windows and cozy exhibition rooms give way to impenetrable darkness, and the bustle of the day gives way to ringing silence. Local employees begin to patrol the endless trading floors and warehouses - creepy entities obsessed with the idea of providing their last service to lost souls. Their obsessive desire to help turns into a ruthless hunt, forcing survivors to seek cover and move with extreme caution, because every squeak could be the last.
Daylight hours become a short respite intended for active actions. Groups of up to three people need to work together to explore the labyrinths of shelves, looking for useful items, tools and encrypted notes that can point the way to salvation. Teamwork is the key to success in Storebound, as solving puzzles and overcoming obstacles requires teamwork. Communication is maintained using walkie-talkies and voice chat, but any extra noise can attract unwanted attention from the nocturnal inhabitants of this damned place.
What the endless shelves hide:
Finding fuses to restore lighting and gain a temporary advantage. Using cover, ventilation shafts and shadows to move unnoticed. Solving spatial puzzles that open new passages to the treasured exit. Control your sanity to prevent yourself from succumbing to madness and becoming a threat to your comrades.
