Game Description
STORROR Parkour Pro is a parkour simulator set in the Isle of Dogs, London. Users navigate these urban environments using a set of motor abilities derived from the discipline of parkour. Available actions include jumping, climbing, overcoming obstacles, somersaulting, sliding, swinging and running across rooftops and streets. The character’s movement is provided by an animation system that combines motion capture data from parkour athletes with physics calculations to depict dynamics. Participants can choose between representatives of the STORROR team and creating their own avatar to interact with the game environment. The location contains interactive elements such as moving cranes and trains, providing additional opportunities for movement.
Activities in STORROR Parkour Pro cover several types of tasks and modes. Players can complete missions, complete time trials, or compete in skill competitions, earning points for their technique. Some missions focus on story aspects, such as opposing demolition plans in the imagined world or evading pursuit by security personnel. Interaction with helicopters is also part of evasive scenarios. In addition, this project supports multiplayer modes: users can team up to complete missions together or compete with each other in races and dexterity tests. The control system is designed to provide control over the character’s actions.
