Game Description
Stronghold Crusader 2 is a real-time strategy game that you can play online with a friend or fight for free on a pirate battle with random players using an online Internet connection. The possibility of free online play includes managing one of several countries with its own unique army, lord, buildings, etc. The difference from previous games in the series is that online play is the main mode, while training, single player campaign and map editor are secondary modes.
This is the first game in the franchise to use a 3D engine. New troops have been added, the artificial intelligence of enemies has been improved, dynamic events have appeared on the map, and much more. The interface, animation and physics have been redone. Most of the time, the gameplay of Stronghold Crusader 2 is based on combat, and only a small part is devoted to political vicissitudes. From the original game, the project took the Path of the Crusaders mode, which offers a series of military battles with different goals and conditions.
Allows you to enter War Mode while playing as Richard the Lionheart or the Sultan of Syria. Events take place in 1189. Each faction has 25 unique units, not counting the Royal Sergeants or Sassanian Knights. Both regular ground troops and archers, silent assassins, etc. are available. Multiplayer battles take place with the participation of 8 players simultaneously. Skirmish mode allows you to carry out sieges on enemy castles. In addition, a sandbox mode is presented, which makes it possible to play without any restrictions.
