Game Description

Super Buff HD is a high-octane shooter that plunges you into a world of absurdity, where battles with bizarre bosses await. The player will have to overcome a tower with sculpted biceps, crush a sword-wielding garbage can titan, or turn a mushroom king into mince with a belly-fall attack. To combat this madness, an arsenal is available, including a rotating potato cannon with basketball bombs and a hammer that invariably returns to the hands after a throw. The events take place in 202020, when muscle guys rebelled against society, and the task is to stop them.

Moving around the arenas involves not only dashing and jumping, but also sliding along railings, using trampolines and even water jets to fly into the air. A key mechanic is the unique ability to ride an opponent, using their body as a surfboard. This approach to gameplay in Super Buff HD allows you to constantly keep moving and accumulate a score multiplier, which is the main goal in each of the 18 locations. Battles will unfold in the most unexpected places: in a shopping mall, on a lunar base or in a cowboy town.

The entire project is made in a deliberately careless style, reminiscent of drawings created in MS Paint. This visual concept perfectly highlights the absurdity of what is happening, with comic words appearing on the screen instead of blood. Such artistic decision accompanies non-stop action, in which you must constantly maneuver in order to survive. There are hordes of enemies to contend with, ranging from legged sharks to anthropomorphic helicopters, filling every level of this fever dream.
