Swords and Sandals 3 Redux plunges fighters into a world of merciless combat, where cutting off limbs does not mean inevitable defeat, but only strengthens the will to win. Turn-based battles in the Gladiae Ultratus arena, taking place both one-on-one and in teams of two, set the goal for the gladiator to defeat 24 legendary champions of the Brandor universe. The path to glory runs through seven deadly locations, from the eerie depths of the Bone Pit to the dizzying heights of the Tower of Vertigo. To achieve triumph, any means are used: you can throw your own weapon at the enemy or even throw a discarded bottle of healing potion at him.
Creating a warrior begins with detailed customization of appearance, height, weight, and even hometown. In addition to people, powerful automaton constructs - robotic overlords with a unique development system - can participate in battles. The gameplay of Swords and Sandals 3 Redux allows you to master a variety of talents and skills, turning your fighter into a real killing machine. Characters rain down molten death from the skies or perform earth-shaking guitar solos, showcasing the versatility of the combat system.
The world of Brandor is populated by colorful characters, among whom there are both old familiar merchants and formidable opponents. Among them are the cartoonish Pig-skinned Merchant Pigsus in a sombrero and the Dread Prisoner waiting for his magical weapon. For connoisseurs of the classics, it is possible to switch to the original sprites of gladiators and merchants at any time, as well as use the classic design of the city. All mechanics feel faster and more polished, offering a concentrated gladiatorial combat experience without unnecessary elements, where champions can be called to duel at any time.
