Game Description

Syberia - Remastered offers an adventure in the punk watch world. The player takes on the role of Kate Walker, a New York lawyer. Her initial assignment: selling a factory in a remote village in the French Alps. This mundane affair quickly turns into an unexpected journey through the snowy landscapes of Eastern Europe, where Kate travels with Oscar, a special machine gun.

The central plot of Syberia - Remastered revolves around the pursuit of Hans Voralberg, an inventor with an unconventional goal. Voralberg seeks to discover the last living mammoths on the mythical island of Siberia; this desire propels the narrative. Kate and Oscar explore many forgotten locations, from Valadilen to the frozen outskirts of Eastern Russia. This project reveals an environment where complex mechanical structures are combined with elements of fantasy.

This version, a re-release of the 2002 original, provides an updated experience. Characters and locations from the original project received a comprehensive visual overhaul; their appearance is changed within the environment. Each location has been rebuilt with attention to detail, maintaining the author’s unique visual style, allowing for a deeper immersion in the artistic universe.

The gameplay has also received significant adjustments. Puzzles have been redesigned to make them easier to interact with, and their mechanics have been adapted to provide more direct solutions to problems that reveal the secrets of Voralberg’s genius. The controls and interface have been modernized, making it easier to navigate the world and offering smoother controls that meet modern standards. This adventure game focuses on a rich story while maintaining its contemplative core.
