Game Description
Tempest Rising is designed for fans of real-time strategy games. This title emulates the classic representatives of the RTS genre from the late 90s and early 2000s. The video game uses an isometric view, but has fully 3D graphics. There are 3 factions to choose from. The gameplay for each of them is noticeably different. The project is made in a science fiction setting. The events shown in it take place in an alternative world. In the 1960s, the Cuban Missile Crisis ended in full-scale conflict. The superpowers exchanged missile strikes, after which nuclear winter began on Earth. The title begins 40 years after that war.
The story and lore are revealed in two campaigns, totaling 30 missions. In addition to them, there are single battles on maps with bots. There is also multiplayer with regular and ranked matches. It allows users to easily customize it. In online battles, gamers can fight among themselves or fight together against artificial intelligence. The gameplay in TR is reminiscent of the Command & Conquer series. Here, too, it is necessary to send analogues of harvesters to extract valuable minerals. In this case, a resource called Tempest, around which the whole plot is tied. In addition, here you need to rebuild your base, develop the economy, churn out units, capture unoccupied buildings, and also fight the enemy army and neutral creatures.
