Terminator: Dark Fate - Defiance provides free online play where you can play online with a friend on a pirate. In this game you will find yourself in a real-time strategic battle for the survival of humanity. Although the machines still pose a threat, other human survivors may become your main obstacle.

As commander of the Founders, a resistance group made up of remnants of the American military, you must lead your army into battle to stop the Legion’s plan to completely exterminate the people. Skirmish and multiplayer modes provide free online play, allowing you to play online online as three different factions: the Founders, the Rebel Movement and the Machine Force of the Legion.

As you command an army that moves from one mission to another across vast strategic maps, you’ll make important decisions about unit placement, combat tactics, and abilities. What is your goal? Not just to survive, but to become the leader of the resistance to the machines. Replay missions and strive for the optimal outcome to sharpen your strategic and military experience.

Take part in challenging, realistic battles where your tactical choices determine your survival and ultimate victory. Use various military equipment, vehicles and ammunition against your enemies. Recruit and train new troops, improve their skills, purchase new weapons and equipment for further resistance.

Get ready for intense battles. The choices you make throughout the campaign have long-term consequences. Other factions and characters may join or oppose you, and the availability of missions may depend on your actions. Limited resources require you to protect your army. Weapons withstand damage thanks to a modular component system, while armor performance, component failures, and hull design affect the survival of your troops.

Expand your forces by recruiting other people. Customize your troop composition in accordance with your preferred battle tactics. Infantry, heavy armored vehicles, plasma cannons, drones, flying units and even people are all at your disposal to achieve victory. The battlefield itself becomes a weapon.
