Game Description

The Bookwalker: Thief of Tales invites players to take on the persona of a book traveler. He is a thief whose special ability is to immerse himself in the worlds of books. In his interpretation, they look like dreams, but at the same time they are completely material. Due to this, the hero can take things directly from dreams and drag them into the real world, which is his main task. Thus, the hero will move through worlds created by the authors to find artifacts of interest to him, which are a source of unimaginable energy.

Depending on which book The Bookwalker character is in, he will need to find one or another item. It, in turn, is permanently displayed on the screen, so the gamer will not lose sight of it when making eye contact. Initially, when the main character just chooses the story he wants to immerse himself in, the gameplay takes place in the first person, but inside the story he will have to be observed from a different perspective. At the same time, the locations will be different each time. Endless deserts, dungeons and dungeons, a cruising spaceship, castles of past eras and other places contain many mysteries and secrets. In addition, along the way you will meet characters from the stories you visit, and each of them will have their own story. As for the gameplay mechanics, the gameplay is based on solving puzzles. These will be both classic quests with processing mechanisms, and simple tasks like finding keys, activating levers, or using an alternative move. Sometimes, in order to deal with the next quest, you will have to return to the real world and find the necessary items.
