Game Description
The Caligula Effect: Overdose takes place in a program with a virtual dimension known as “Mobius”. This project was designed to enable people to escape pain in life and take their minds off problems while living in an idealistic high school environment. The central character is one of the members of the group, which understands that it is not in reality. They form a Go-Home club to escape the confinement of an idyllic setting together. The god-like program has overseers who brutally punish anyone who disobeys. But, if you don’t commit stupid things or crimes, then there won’t be any questions for the residents. However, a group of main characters decides to destroy this fake world, since the government should not distract from existing problems and lure them into such an apparatus, in their opinion. The group will have to fight the “Ostinato Musicians,” those who support the wardens and consider the Go-Home traitors. The player navigates through dungeons and participates in turn-based battles. As the user progresses, he obtains equipment and upgrades his players. Each fight with rivals begins after a detailed study of the area. A character group consists of a maximum of 4 members with their own abilities. The gameplay features 9 heroes who can be changed in a party as the story progresses.
