The plot of The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena, as before, is devoted to a hero named Richard B. Riddick. The possibility of free online play allows you to fight in six unique modes. Network play is represented by 6 modes: Deathmatch - each player acts for himself; Team DM - battles between teams; Arena - an analogue of a team deathmatch, but with access to the entire arsenal; Capture the Fire - classic capture the flag; Butcher Bay Riot - battles of 12 fighters, divided into 3 teams; Pitch Black - battle of 6 players in the dark, where 5 participants are guards, and the sixth controls Riddick.

Gameplay The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena is a first-person shooter game. Multiplayer maps allow you to fight in 20 unique locations. Stealth mechanics are introduced that significantly expand the gameplay capabilities of the action movie. However, the developers do not prohibit speaking out against enemies in direct confrontation.

The first half of the adventure completely repeats the original, but in the second segment it turns into an independent work. As the main character, you need to sneak in the shadows, kill enemies in hand-to-hand combat or with firearms. New enemies are drones patrolling areas. Various innovations and improvements compared to the original are also available.
