Game Description
The Cradle is a horror film with a psychological bent, the narrative of which revolves around a reporter’s investigation into the tragedy that unfolded within the walls of the Synergy Soft corporation. The main character named Alex needs to make a foray into an abandoned office complex to establish the true motives for the brutal massacre that occurred six months earlier. According to the official interpretation, the incident was caused by a collective clouding of reason, but the reality turns out to be much more frightening. Inside the structure, where the passage of time seems to have stopped, an unnatural silence reigns, and the shadows on the walls have acquired their own existence. Personal items and suicide messages left behind only add to the oppressive atmosphere of the empty work areas and the luxurious director’s office.
Navigating through ominous corridors is directly related to the task of reconstructing the chronology of what happened. Achieving this goal requires collecting documentation and audio files that clarify the mystery of the failed experiment and the so-called Protocol of Silence. The ability to survive in The Cradle is determined by the ability to contain personal horror and not make unnecessary sounds, since sometimes the best strategy is absolute inaction. To uncover the secret, the character will have to search for keys to gain access to locked locations, as well as solve mental problems to discover hidden passages. The process involves a detailed exploration of the underground laboratory and hidden rooms, with a critical element being the collection of flashlight batteries to avoid being swallowed up in absolute darkness.
