Game Description
The Curse We Made is a hand-drawn puzzle adventure where the main goal is to bring life back to a cursed world. The protagonist arrives in the city of Gravebrook by train and finds himself in a place completely absorbed in shadows and devoid of any colors. Each of the 32 handcrafted riddles represents a key to healing the land. Successfully solving puzzles not only opens up new locations, but literally fills the lifeless environment with light and color. As you progress, the emotional story of the tragic curse that hangs over this forgotten settlement and its inhabitants gradually unfolds.
The process of exploring Gravebrook involves carefully exploring every corner, from candlelit churches to abandoned motels and dark crypts. On this journey through the bleak streets, the sarcastic cat Pesto is your companion, and fragments of the truth are collected from diaries and conversations with ghostly residents. The gameplay of The Curse We Made requires the gamer to pay maximum attention to detail, because in order to fully restore the picture of what happened, the following must be done:
interact with otherworldly entities and creepy ghouls; carefully study the found notes and personal journals; juxtapose the stories of regretful and obsessed townspeople; follow the clues of your unusual cat guide.
