Game Description

The Last Caretaker is a story of survival in a world where hostile mechanisms and a constant lack of resources force you to act methodically. The gameplay is based on the exploration of abandoned structures towering over the endless ocean. Each rusty tower or silent dock becomes a source of valuable materials obtained by dismantling the remains of a former civilization. Not only tools and weapons are created from the recovered scrap, but also complex energy networks. Laying cables and providing power to ancient machines is a vital task, without which it is impossible to move forward and open locked doors.

The main character is a robot who wakes up completely alone on a flooded planet. On his mechanical shoulders rests the colossal responsibility of saving the remnants of humanity. The main mission in The Last Caretaker is to carefully nurture the last human seeds located in a special Lazarus complex. Incubation temperature, nutrient flow, and memory integration must be carefully monitored to ensure a future for a species that is nearly extinct.

Navigation through the post-apocalyptic waters is carried out by boat, which opens access to new locations and secrets of the past. While exploring the ruins, the protagonist gradually reconstructs the picture of the disaster that occurred. The ultimate goal is not just survival, but the restoration of the launch infrastructure. This is the only way to send the precious cargo - new life - to the stars, giving it another chance to exist far from the lost world.
