Game Description
The Last Case of John Morley is a dark detective adventure, the plot of which is dedicated to the investigation of a murder twenty years ago. The English countess Lady Margaret Fordside, convinced of the innocence of the convicts, turns to the main character for help. The police have long closed the case of the death of her daughter Elodie, blaming everything on dummies. However, the inconsolable mother is sure that the real criminal is still at large. She hires a private investigator as her last hope for finding the truth in this seemingly hopeless case.
The protagonist is John Morley, a private detective who has barely recovered from the physical and psychological injuries received during his last job. Taking on this investigation, he plunges into a world of long-forgotten secrets. The Last Case of John Morley’s gameplay features detailed first-person exploration, including abandoned sanitariums and eerie mansions. To advance through the story, you must carefully analyze the evidence you find, solve puzzles, and use your special ability to visually reconstruct crime scenes to understand what really happened.
The narrative unfolds in a depressing 1940s noir style, enhanced by a disturbing musical accompaniment. As they progress, quiet digging through old documents turns into a dangerous dive into places that hold supernatural secrets and hidden truths that refuse to remain buried.
