In addition to battles, some stages offer solving simple puzzles to find a way out of the location. Each playthrough becomes a step towards understanding all the mechanics.
The central figure of the story is a protagonist named Thunder, wandering through the fragments of a once great state. Fragments of his past and the hidden truth about the reasons for the decline of the kingdom are presented through special plot inserts, stylized as the pages of an illustrated book.
