Game Description
The Past Within allows you to play online as a pirate with a friend while traveling through time. Players team up online to uncover Albert Vanderboom’s secret plan. The online game The Past Within places two protagonists in different timelines: one character is in the future, and the other is in the past. You will need to carefully study locations and solve various puzzles.
Depending on the time period, the same locations can look completely different. To perform a specific action, two players complete unique tasks in their own time. The possibility of free online play is aimed exclusively at co-op, so you will need to constantly interact with each other and convey to your partner what everyone sees in front of them on the screen. The main difficulty is to correctly describe to your companion what he sees on the screen so that he can perform the correct action in his world. The entire gameplay is built on this principle right up to the very end of the story.
There is an intricate and fascinating plot. You will need to help Rose find out her father’s secret and implement his plan for the future. The worlds and environments are made in both two-dimensional and three-dimensional styles depending on time. The story campaign consists of two chapters. Each one will take up to an hour of real time to complete. Each puzzle has several alternative solutions.
