Game Description
The Temple of Elemental Evil opens up a world where a resurgent darkness gathers around the ruins of a destroyed cultist stronghold near the village of Hommlet. Many years ago, the spontaneous cult of the demoness was defeated, and its citadel was destroyed by the Circle of Eight detachment. Now the local roads are overrun by bandits, and ominous gatherings are taking place within the walls of the fallen fortress. A group of adventurers will have to investigate these incidents, reveal the identities of the mysterious figures and fight the source of the growing chaos that threatens to engulf all the surrounding lands.
Taking control of a squad of five created heroes, the gamer can hire three more companions in The Temple of Elemental Evil. Each character develops through a selection of skills, talents, and spells based on the Dungeons & Dragons system. The project supports any worldview, allowing you to solve problems from good, neutral or evil positions. The choice you make directly affects your communication with non-player characters inhabiting various locations in the world of Greyhawk.
Battles in this game take place in a turn-based tactical mode, requiring competent positioning and coordinated actions of the squad against a variety of monsters. The narrative branches based on the player’s decisions, creating many separate story paths and shaping a unique adventure. The choices made directly lead to different outcomes and multiple endings, reflecting the consequences of the group’s actions. The entire game gradually evolves from an investigation into a local mystery into a direct confrontation with an ancient evil that threatens the entire region.
