Game Description

The Test is a psychological horror with elements of a visual novel, role-playing adventure, and immersive sim with a lot of text monologues inside the protagonist’s head. The player gets the opportunity to directly influence what is happening using a decision-making system of varying degrees of importance. The isometric camera allows you to get the best view of the two-dimensional space where all the action of the single-player campaign takes place with a well-developed plot about mental suffering. The creators of the project characterize their brainchild as a social experiment with the goal of digging into one’s own psyche to obtain unexpected results.

The player will be asked various questions throughout the passage of a short story with a large number of moments where the gamer needs to make one decision or another. Most often, you need to answer the theses with “yes” or “no”. The choice moves the virtual protégé along the storyline, allowing him to learn new facts for further searching for answers in the depths of his soul. Not all the information received can please the player, but this is the difficulty of the “Test” game.
