theHunter: Call of the Wild

The Hunter’s Open World is now available intheHunter: Call of the Wild. This is not a simple hunter simulator, where we will have to climb trees and hide in the grass to kill the next deer, but a full-fledged world with smells, changing wind and weather; with the individual behavior of each animal that must be killed to complete the task. This is not a simple hunt, but a real one! The first-person shooter also features co-op and multiplayer modes. You can team up with 2-7 friends to bring order to your forest.

Of all the available tasks, not only exploration of 13 hectares of forest, swamps and rivers in the mountainous area will be open to you, but also the killing of some animals for villagers to either feast on their meat or get their skins. The game uses an action engine - Apex. Not only will you be able to explore open areas that were created by the same developers who created the leading action films, but you will also be able to trade the items you find, look for rare items in headquarters, abandoned huts and foresters' houses. Killing isn’t all there is to theHunter: CotW.

Its realism is primarily manifested in the amazing beauty of the locations. The forests are truly dense, filled with the sounds of nature and properly working effects. This encourages deep immersion into virtual space. The game is harsh on hunters - here you will not find any hints or infrared vision, the only helpers will be feces and traces left by animals. There is an increased likelihood of spotting game near water sources and notable forest edges. Just like its real counterpart, it takes a lot of patience to fire the single, decisive shot in this painstaking task.

The presence of some leveling options increases the playability of the product. In the store we can purchase additional equipment, and spend experience either on shooting skill or on the necessary dexterity. There are several types of armor and weapons for the player to choose from. For example, if you are tired of a rifle, then you can always change it to a more mobile revolver or bow in order to be less tired. If you’re not shooting accurately and the locals are complaining about the quality of the hide, then try a rifle with the new optical sight to ensure you always hit the eye! However, there is also a nuance here: ballistics, bullet behavior - physics, and the individual movement of all animals. Day and night alternate in the game just like in real life, so get ready for the fact that most of the time you will have to wait for those animals that are needed on the task. After completing some of them, the game character will receive experience and skill points, which can be used to upgrade their skills.
