Three Kingdoms Mushouden takes gamers back to 182 AD, on the cusp of the Yellow Turban Rebellion. The imperial court is engulfed in deep internal confusion and factional strife, which interferes with the work of officials, dooming the people to severe trials. Players choose either a unique hero or a commander from the chronicles; they will have to form troops and form alliances. Such preparations are being made against a backdrop of growing chaos, providing an opportunity to change the course of history.

In Three Kingdoms Mushouden, characters decide whether to act as lone wanderers or use the knowledge of the era to win over many famous warlords to their side. The plot basis of this title is based on the historical Notes of the Three Kingdoms, narratives from the Romance of the Three Kingdoms and interpretations from modern literary works. The project features over 160 historical figures, so you will have to maneuver between possible alliances and hostilities to complete the assigned tasks.

The game world includes the areas of Sili, Jizhou, Yuzhou, Binzhou, Yanzhou and Qingzhou, offering a total of 60 cities, mainly in the Yellow River region. The text volume exceeds 450,000 words, and such a system provides flexible ways for the hero to develop. Missions include eliminating bandits, collecting bounties, setting up ambushes for merchant caravans, confronting foreign aggressors and trying to restore order at court. The battles aim to recreate battles using historical weapons, starting with local skirmishes for initial reinforcement and then moving on to control larger army formations.
