Tormented Souls 2 continues the story of Caroline Walker after the events at Wildberger Asylum. Her little sister, Anna, suffers from visions of violence and death, which she sketches, and these drawings become reality. To save her sister, the heroine travels to the remote town of Villa Hess and a secluded clinic in the mountains of southern Chile. The establishment’s employees hide behind a mask of calm, but soon the sisters find themselves in the center of a completely new nightmare. Behind the walls of the institution there is a cult that sees a special interest in Anna’s abilities.
In Tormented Souls 2, the player takes control of Caroline and explores the dark places of the town, including a monastery, a shopping center and a school. The heroine’s special ability allows her to move between realities, changing the past to transform the present and search for alternative paths. Progressing through the story requires exploring and combining items from your inventory. Solving the puzzles built into the environment requires finding connections between objects and the world.
