Game Description
Touhou Genso Wanderer -FORESIGHT- is a dungeon crawler RPG set in the world of Gensokyo. Players take on the role of Reimu Hakurei, a shrine maiden who has lost her memory. Together with his friend Marisa Kirisame, Reimu goes in search of a solution to the incidents in Gensokyo. The game features roguelike elements, and the dungeons change layout and loot with each playthrough. However, unlike traditional roguelikes, players retain their character level and items after defeat, allowing for constant progression. Exploration is also aided by a fast travel system that unlocks as you progress through Gensokyo.
Character development is not limited to simply leveling up. By helping the villagers and interacting with other inhabitants of Gensokyo, Reimu acquires special boards that increase her base stats. Players can also invest in upgrading the Hakurei Shrine, gaining access to new facilities and travel opportunities. Visually, the game boasts an update. Almost all of the characters have received new illustrations to showcase their unique appearance. Weapon and armor designs have also undergone changes, with most right-handed weapons and left-handed armor receiving new illustrations. These updated visuals give players a fresh look at the familiar world of Gensokyo.
