Game Description
UltraGirl Alters is a tactical project in which the gamer controls a group of virtual idols, Alters, fighting the creations of corporate algorithms. Five girls, dressed in tokusatsu-style battle suits, confront monsters on live-streamed battlefields. The outcome of each clash is determined not only by the competent use of the heroines’ unique abilities, but also by the reaction of the audience to the actions of the commander. Accumulating SP points gives you access to ultimate attacks that can destroy entire squads of enemies or deal devastating damage to bosses.
Outside the virtual arena, the lives of heroines are filled with the challenges inherent in the entertainment industry. As a manager, you will have to solve the problems of girls related to cyberbullying, information leaks and conflicts within the fan club. Developing relationships with each of the group members, including the icy Nanase and the clumsy Mitsuki, opens up access to personal tasks. Successfully completing them not only strengthens bonds of trust, but also provides combat bonuses. In the UltraGirl Alters title, exploring the city allows you to find side missions that reveal the stories of minor characters.
Two sides of the life of idols:
In the virtual world, girls become heroines opposing monsters created by the megacorporation INFI-X. In reality, they are young artists whose careers and personal well-being depend on the wise decisions of their mentor. Progress in battles is directly linked to solving personal problems, which creates an inextricable link between the two aspects of gameplay. The ultimate goal is to achieve the perfect ending, where a team of six becomes the ultimate group of Alters.
The narrative gradually reveals the dark secrets of the INFI-X corporation, which uses entertainment content and complex algorithms to control society. By helping idols overcome difficulties, the manager, together with them, challenges the system, where everything is subordinated to the thirst for profit. Each decision affects the development of the plot and relationships within the team, leading to one of several possible endings to the story.
