Game Description
Vanguard Galaxy is a space sandbox where you will explore a procedurally generated world after a risky jump of 25,000 light years. The journey ends in the Canis Major Dwarf Galaxy, a once quiet corner of space that has become the scene of a clash between corporate interests and the local population. Here, a mysterious employer introduces the protagonist to a new reality, full of intrigue and conspiracies, offering to join one of the factions or remain neutral.
Pilots will have to forge their own path, choosing from a variety of styles. The gameplay of Vanguard Galaxy allows you to engage in trade, looking for profitable routes, or fight with opponents using a wide arsenal of weapons. In addition, it is possible to extract resources from the surface of asteroids and collect the wreckage of abandoned ships for subsequent processing into valuable materials.
Progress is achieved through the purchase and improvement of new ships, whose range ranges from small miners to large destroyers. Captain development occurs through the discovery of abilities in several skill trees, and a hired crew with different professions provides passive bonuses. Modules found or created from recycled resources allow you to strengthen your fleet for the exploration of distant sectors of space.
The galaxy is filled with dynamic NPC captains that you can form alliances with, fight with, or avoid. The world reacts to the player’s actions, building a unique storyline as you explore systems and complete a variety of missions. To automate routine tasks, the ECHO autopilot system is provided, capable of independently performing basic operations with minimal intervention.
