Game Description
Vaporwave Pinball is about immersing yourself in the relaxing atmosphere of liminal spaces, presented in the form of a tiny fantasy operating system. The process unfolds on several tables, each of which immerses you in a unique environment. The locations include both indoor pools and outdoor areas with black and white checkered floors. As you progress, new, more complex arenas open up, requiring honing your skills. Some of them are made in an unexpected horror style, adding a touch of tension to the gameplay. In total, there are six different tables available for exploration, five of which must be unlocked by consistently collecting the required number of points.
The project consciously departs from the canons of a strict simulation, offering more stimulation and a meditative experience. Despite its overall relaxing nature, Vaporwave Pinball does offer a certain amount of challenge, with quick bounces off low-lying obstacles often resulting in the ball being lost. However, the redesigned physics model gives you more control over the situation, especially when aiming accurately with flippers. This change greatly reduces the number of accidental losses, although the element of luck is still an important part of pinball. Records of records are kept on each table, which motivates you to achieve better results.
Evolution of tests - from simple to complex:
Access to new tables opens as you accumulate points. At later stages, special mechanics appear, such as accelerators and portals. The configuration of levels on the tables changes dynamically when certain targets are hit.
