Game Description
Vietnam War offers a single-player, open-world, first-person immersion experience set against the backdrop of a historical conflict. Gamers choose sides: the forces of the United States or the Viet Cong fighters of the North Vietnamese Army, operating in a variety of landscapes. This project includes squad management mechanics that allow you to lead soldiers in combat situations. In addition, there are other units on the battlefield, autonomously participating in clashes, which adds dynamics to the environment.
In Vietnam War, players move through an environment where objectives arise based on current events in the area of operations, without a predetermined plot. Radio communications make it possible to request air support, artillery strikes, reinforcements and supplies. Players give direct orders to the members of their squad: follow, hold position, attack, or use tactical formations. Survival elements require you to monitor your character’s needs: eating, drinking, smoking, or taking pills to restore energy.
Operations involve movement through locations such as the Mekong Delta, river valleys, jungles and fire bases on high ground. Main activities include searching for and eliminating the enemy, protecting loyal settlements, or punitive actions against villages suspected of treason. You must also confront environmental hazards: hidden traps, wild animals like tigers and snakes, while searching for tunnel systems and enemy fortifications. There is a possibility of being captured and imprisoned as a prisoner of war during the process.
