Game Description
War on the Sea is a single-player tactical simulator of combat operations that take place in the oceanic space. The gamer will have control of not only 50 types of warships for various purposes, including submarines, but also realistic copies of real aircraft. The setting of the project is the era of the Second World War; the year 1942 has recently arrived on the planet. The location of all available battles in the single-player campaign is the Pacific Ocean, and more specifically, locations near the Solomon Islands, which represent a strategically important point for both sides of the conflict.
The player needs to take command of the American flotilla, issuing orders to all available equipment located in the game area. Historical Operations, which make up the story mode, are a collection of missions and side objectives that must be completed in order to ruin the lives of the soldiers of Imperial Japan. For example, the destruction of a convoy with food for enemy soldiers, the elimination of higher ranks to cause confusion in the ranks of the opponent, night assaults, and so on. In individual battles not included in the campaign, the user can try to win the conflict by controlling the Asians.
