Game Description
We Who Are About To Die takes the gamer back to the times of Ancient Rome and allows you to enter the arena as a gladiator. These magnificent fighters were mostly slaves and were forced to fight for their master in the hope of gaining glory on the sand and hoping for a chance to eventually become free, but only a few achieved this goal. Offers multiplayer content, thanks to which the gamer will fight against other real users in difficult battles.
In We Who Are About To Die, combat mechanics are designed separately for each gladiator style and weapon. For example, as a Murmilon, who fights with a large shield and a short sword, you can combine defensive and attack stances, striking when the enemy gets tired of breaking through the block. But as a dimacher holding a sword in his hands, you will have to attack more often and deftly dodge blows using speed and agility. It is also noteworthy that death is the finale of each playthrough - after it you will have to start the path to glory again.
To begin with, the user is recommended to go through the training mode, as well as backstories - they even have a short storyline, with which you can better learn the fate of key fighters. Afterwards, you can safely try your hand at the rating system, where each victory rewards you with points and equipment. The better a warrior’s equipment, the more chances he has to survive in the arena and defeat as many opponents as possible.
