Game Description

Wooden Ocean presents a narrative that begins when a teenager named Simon is transported to another world, and 42 years later, Violet goes in search of her brother Marcus. The setting is a simulation inside a structure called the Infinite Hotel, which serves as a kind of afterlife and contains many other virtual realities. It is inhabited by both local residents unaware of the nature of their existence and knowledgeable individuals, as well as entities such as demons, poets, angels and gods.

The plot centers on Violet’s personality and her connection to a deity named Mezra, touching on themes of mortality, creation, and the role of the player in this world. Wooden Ocean’s gameplay features turn-based battles from a first-person perspective, where each action consumes resources: health (HP), mana (MP) and stamina (ST). The hero’s effectiveness in battle decreases with a low health reserve, which primarily affects accuracy. The mechanics of combat psychology affect performance depending on the fighter’s confidence, and its level is tracked by portraits during clashes.

Heroes controlled by the gamer have a set of attributes, from attack and defense to luck and weight, which affects agility. Character development includes several levels of customization. At the beginning of this role-playing game, each hero chooses 2 of the 15 available elements, such as Fire, Ice or Gravity, each of which gives certain effects and allows you to interact with the environment. The project’s arsenal includes swords, bows and magic rifles, where each type of weapon offers a unique set of skills depending on specific parameters. Every 10 levels, fighters receive talents, of which there are 48 main and 12 additional talents in the title. They give an increase to attributes and increase resistance to the elements.
