Game Description
Wreckborn is a methodical confrontation with space pirates, requiring gamers not only to have combat skills, but also to strategically plan. Collisions in airless space take place using laser and missile weapons, and the arsenal includes both maneuverable fighters and heavy frigates. The gradually increasing aggression of the enemy forces us to constantly improve our defensive lines, because any gap in the defense can lead to catastrophic consequences. Successful resistance directly depends on a developed industrial infrastructure, which provides access to advanced technologies and new ship models. The visual style of the project emphasizes the harsh atmosphere of uninhabited space, focusing on the contrast of light and shadow.
The central element of the gameplay is the transformation of lifeless asteroids into self-sufficient industrial hubs and well-fortified citadels. Procedural world generation of Wreckborn ensures that each new playthrough will be unique due to the random location of resources and enemy bases. To achieve dominance in the sector and free the prisoners, a whole range of tasks must be performed:
explore asteroid fields in search of valuable minerals; build industrial and defensive structures; establish transport networks for efficient logistics; make forays to rescue captured people and intercept enemy convoys.
